emphasis to those in distressed situations. It is also why we strongly discourage the

We are a non-profit store which is affiliated with and strongly supports
the FISH Hospitality Pantries in all the great work they do!
AS OUR MISSION IS TO GET NEEDED ITEMS TO PEOPLE AT THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICES,
OUR MERCHANDISE IS NOT FOR RESALE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
TO ANYONE WE THINK MAY BE RESELLING OUR MERCHANDISE.
Community Chest of Knoxville is a not-for-profit clothing and household items shop serving all,
but focusing service to those in distressed situations and to those with low incomes.
Many people with limited incomes cannot clothe their families at the prices charged
by most non-profit thrift stores. Our aim is to get needed items to people at the lowest
prices while covering operating expenses. Extra funds realized benefit FISH Hospitality Pantries.

bring during hours of operation to Community Chest/Donation Processing Center at
1508 N. Central Street.
Recycling clothing and household items is a way to be good stewards of the earth's resources.
It respects our environment by reducing waste. It shows care for our neighbors who must
struggle for an adequate share of life's resources.
